in the ASEAN regions, in USA and in Europe.
In the Phil.-British Literary Conference held in the UST in 2001,
Bautista gave a lecture entitled, “Shaping the Past—
The Writer’s Necessary Topography.”

He has served as judge in the Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards

in Dumaguete, in Iligan, IYAS of Bacolod, in Iloilo, among many others.
